Mayor’s Food Truck Fiesta
| Special Events/Parks&Rec Start Date: 2/1/2012 End Date: 2/1/2012 WHERE: 400 Block Franklin St. Mall and 200 Block of Madison St. (both streets are adjacent to Lykes Gaslight Square Park) WHEN: First Wednesday of Every Month from 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. Five new food trucks will join Mayor Buckhorn’s Food Truck Fiesta on Wednesday, February 1, 2012. The event is from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Lykes Gaslight Square Park on Franklin Street between Madison Street and Kennedy Boulevard. "Every month we've been able to add new food trucks and satisfy every taste imaginable. But, the fact that we've been able to do that is a testament to how vibrant food trucks are in our community and how people want to come into downtown," said Mayor Bob Buckhorn. "This is a great event, and I hope everyone continues to enjoy it." In conjunction with the Tampa Downtown Partnership, the Mayor’s Food Truck Fiesta was first launched in Lykes Gaslight Square Park last November. After a successful debut, new food trucks have been added to the roster each month. The February Fiesta will feature the following food trucks: Keep'n It Reel Fat Tortillas - NEW Jimmy Meatball's O'Macalicious - NEW Stinky Bunz - NEW Hot Dog Gourmet - NEW M-N-M BBQ - NEW Tasty Stacy Wiched Witches Fire Monkey The Mayor's Food Truck Fiesta will be held the first Wednesday of every month at lunchtime from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in downtown Tampa.
